Has your MOT expired?
It's worth checking if your MOT is current as the extensions put in place when the pandemic hit last year have lead to some cars running out and drivers being unware
Also, if you took your car off the road during the lockdowns the MOT may have expired and a new test will be needed to get back on the road.
You can check the MOT status at gov.uk/check-mot-history or call us on 02380845050 and we can check for you.
The MOT extensions put in place last year have meant that more cars will be due a test from August to December this year and much fewer during April, May and June. As a result it is well worth booking your MOT test in good time. In fact you can have the test carried out up to 4 weeks before the expiry and the original anniversary will be preserved.
To book your MOT test, there is an easy online booking form on our website, or you can call us on 02380845050.
In other news....
This summer the biofuel content in normal unleaded E5 petrol will increase from 5% to 10% E10. For most cars this will make no difference but there are some cars that will need to use super-unleaded which will remain at 5%. To check compatibility go to gov.uk/E10checker.
Don't forget that as well as MOT tests, servicing, tyres and bodywork, we can also fit new sensor valves and re-programme Tyre Pressure Monitor Systems (TPMS) and refurbish headlamp lenses with either a polish or full re-lacquer makeover.
