Book your MOT Early 

 

If your MOT test is due in October or November, you are advised to book for the test to be done in August.

 

This applies especially if you were given an MOT renewal extension during the initinal coronavirus crisis. 

 

Because the government have ended new extensions, there will be a spike in demand for MOT tests in September, October and November. We anticipate that it will be difficult for customers to find test slot availability during these months, along with getting any repairs carried out.

 

The government are concerned about the impact this will have on people and have launched their "Beat the Rush" campaign.

 

Therefore please consider booking your MOT to be done in August. While you may loose a few weeks on the renewal date, you are more likely to get any repairs and regular maintenance done in good time and each year you will avoid the peak demand that will occur annually as a result of the government measures.
